Mon enfance en écoutant la belle et émouvante musique, les poèmes et les histoires que ma mère me racontait (et elle a été la première à devenir mon professeur et à m'initier à la poésie et à la musique iraniennes et européennes) et aux légendes, histoires et poésie. Les indigènes de la région, en particulier les peuples des tribus et des nomades, sont décédés, et ces poèmes et légendes ont eu un effet très profond sur mes premiers poèmes.
Nous avons tous beaucoup réfléchi à la signification, au concept et à la base des causes existentielles de nombreux états et sentiments particuliers qui nous touchent et nous piègent parfois. Par exemple, la tristesse ou le bonheur, que nous considérons généralement comme un élément et un phénomène indépendants, et nous pensons toujours beaucoup à leurs causes et phénomènes existentiels. ESMAIEL YOURDSHAHIAN
Esmaeil Yourdshahian (Urmia), the contemporary Iranian poet and writer
in the conceptual style, was born on March 26th, 1955 in the city of Oroumieh
in Iran. He pursued his studies in the fields of culture and civilization, as
well as in psychology. For many years, he has been teaching and researching in
different universities in Oroumieh, and working with other universities and
literary circles around the world. He has published 15 books of poetry, 5
novels, 3 books on linguistics and ethnography, and 37 academic articles in
international journals. His third novel, Where I Was Born, is different. In
this literary and artistic portrait, Yourdshahian depicts the lives of a group
of migrant Americans in Iran, 150 years ago. It is about some men and women who
went to serve people there and give a new meaning
to their lives."
