It was in the middle of the year 2009, and I was just beginning to settle into the new place I’d moved to… Vancouver. I started to look for work, handing out my resume to different stores and job sites, in the hopes that someone would employ me. Although, back home,  was a business owner and I still had that drive to try and work for myself again, and not just somebody else.  So, I was in the middle of the streets handing out my resume, but my mind was elsewhere: could I open my own business here? How could I do it? I was in a different country, using English as my second .language, and I also don’t know what opportunities surround me in this great country.
