SINA ALAM

Iranian Musician/Composer

Sina Alam (born December 1989 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian Kamancheh, Ghichak and Violin player, teacher and composer. He is the main member of Shoosh ensemble under the direction of Hooman Khalatbari. 

He has also been active in Shahram Nazeri and Za ensembles.

Early life and education 

Sina Alam was born in 1989 in Tehran, Iran. When he was 9, he started learning music with the Violin instrument and worked for about 4, 5 years unprofessionally. As a teenager he attended high school at a music conservatory and chose Kamancheh as a specialist in the genre of musical instruments. Continuing his music studies under various teachers. He has already completed his bachelor's degree in music with a focus on Kamancheh Instrument at the University ofTehran. 
Over the years Alam' s teachers have included Mostafa Kamal Pourtorab, Mohsen N afar, Hadi Arazm, Hadi Montazeri, Mohammad Reza Azadehfar, V artan Sahakian, Esmaeel Gerami ... 
Music career 
In During his study at the university, he has always been very active and often took part in various concerts, which allowed him to expand his knowledge constantly. He also collaborated with the IRIB as a musician and composer, and has experience in teaching at a music conservatory in his artistic work. Sina Alam received a music teaching license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in 2008.

As the other experiences of him is that he has participated in numerous concerts as a Kamancheh musician. Such 
as concerts of Professor Shahram Nazeri and the Simorgh Orchestra that has been composed and sung by 
Professor Homayoun Shajaran .. He was also one of the main members and musicians in Zand group for several 
years.In 2011, he participated as a musician and composer on the instrumental album "Cut pieces". In addition, 
he also produced other Single Tracks in which he played the role both as a musician and as a composer.He is also 
the main ideator and member ofShoosh ensemble under the direction of Hooman Khalatbari, who started his 
activity in 2022.
One of his recent professional activities is the establishment of" Alam Music School", a place to learn the 
basics of music with experienced staff and professional music masters.
